FAQ

1.     Do you offer same day deliveries?

Yes. We offer same day rush hand delivery services within San Diego County during weekdays. Same day rush orders must be received by no later than 09:00 a.m. weekdays. We do not offer same day delivery service on weekends.  

Orders received after business hours (after 4:00 p.m. PST) will not be counted as received until the following business day.

2.     It’s after 09:00 a.m. Can I still have my order delivered same day?

Orders received after 09:00 a.m. and before 12 p.m. are considered on an individual basis, pending courier availability. Please note that the cost for 'extremely urgent' deliveries is more, depending upon the distance traveled.

 

3.     Are there any orders that cannot be delivered same day?

Baskets containing alcoholic beverages, fresh fruit and baked goodies require a one business day advanced notice before delivery can be made. Our business day ends at 4:00 p.m.

4.     Can I come in to pick up my order?

You can make arrangements to leave your gift for pick up at 'That Place That Ships' store in Escondido. Please call to arrange pick-up time.

 

5.     I’d like to include my business card and another item to the basket. Is this possible?

Absolutely. You can mail your items to our location and we will see to it that they are added to your gift. We will keep your business cards on file to include with future orders.

6.     I’d like to add a bottle of champagne to my basket. How can I do this?

We are partnered with BevMo!, the Escondido store location, where our clients select from a huge inventory of spirits. From wine, whiskey, champagne, beer and accessories, BevMo! has your alcoholic beverage needs covered. 7.     Can I pay you for my wine purchase?

Unfortunately no, as we aren't licensed to accept payments for alcoholic beverages. That is why we have partnered with BevMo! in Escondido.

8.     I like one of your baskets, but I would like to make a substitution for one of the items listed.

Not a problem. Every single basket on our site can be customized to your exact specification.

9.     I like one of your baskets, but my budget is less. What can I do?

It is possible to adjust some of the basket’s contents to reduce the overall price a bit. For more information, please call 760-291-1020.

10.  I want to change a bow's color scheme on one of your baskets.

Perfectly fine. 

11.  I called your office but received a voicemail message.

Recently we’ve been inundated with robotic phone call disturbances, which, unfortunately, has left us no choice but to screen our calls. We are in the office from 8:30-4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Someone will call you back within 10 minutes or less. Please accept our apologies in advance for the inconvenience. If you have not heard back from us within 15 minutes, please call again. Occasionally we aren't able to decipher a number left on voicemail.

12.  Do you ship your baskets internationally?

No. We only ship within the continental U.S.

13.  How long will it take for my shipment to arrive?

It depends upon when your shipment leaves our west coast facility. Please allow 5 business days for any east coast deliveries to arrive. For more information, please call our office: 760-291-1020

14.  I only saw one pet basket on your website.

All our pet baskets are custom made to order. Contents will be selected based upon breed, species, size, gender and the pet’s occasion. Please call our office for more information: 760-291-1020

15.  I have a convention coming up for which I need a large number of hotel amenity gifts. What is the process?

Either fill out the order form inquiry on [link:­­­­­­­___], or call us to discuss the details of your upcoming event. We will need to know the date needed, budget, guest list, and any product requests. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before we can proceed with your order. Ideally we would like to have 2-3 weeks advanced notice.

16.  I’d like to personalize our baskets.

We offer imprinted ribbon and personalized labels in house onto which we can include your message of choice. We also work with promotional companies who provide us with 1000’s of promotional products, such as personalized tote bags, pens, etc. Most promotional companies require 2-3 weeks lead time to add your artwork to each product. 17.  I need multiple baskets delivered to one location. How am I charged?

If you are placing your order online, our shopping cart will not accurately provide you with the shipping charges. Those charges will be calculated manually once your order has been placed. If you have more than 1 basket going to one location, our courier will charge a ‘per basket’ rate. If you have a large volume order going to one location, we will hand deliver your order within San Diego County free of charge, unless it requires our company to rent a cargo truck for delivery. Please call our office to discuss details.

18.  Do you deliver during the weekend?

We encourage deliveries to be completed during the week whenever possible. We do not provide 'same day' delivery service during the weekend. We do not provide weekend delivery services outside of San Diego County. If you need a gift delivered on a Saturday, please select UPS or Fed-Ex option. Order must be received by no later than 2 p.m. Friday.

19.  Do you deliver to hospitals and military bases?

Unfortunately we no longer offer delivery services to hospitals due to shortened lengths of stay. Yes, we offer shipping services onto military bases, but not courier delivery services.

20.  If no one is home what do you do?

If we are hand delivering your gift, it will be left for the recipient if no one is home. If your basket contains alcohol, someone over 21 must be home to sign for the basket. 

21.  I don’t want the basket left if no one is home.

If no one is home, our courier will charge a redelivery fee for each delivery attempt. Some households will not answer their doors, even when someone is home. Fed-Ex and UPS leaves all packages regardless of whether or not someone is home to receive it. You must request a recipient signature receipt, which is an additional charge required by both UPS and Fed-Ex.

22.  I don’t see exactly what I want on your website.
